Our client is seeking a Microsoft Developer with mobile development experience to join their growing team. This is an opportunity to join a well-known company brand that is environmentally responsible and to have an integral impact in the environment by helping reduce the cost of ownership and energy spent relative to their industrial products.

In this position, you will be working with a team of engineers to deliver information technology information and releases to customers. The company is moving toward IoT in order to collect data from their industrial machinery to enable customers access to the data for cost-savings analysis.  This position may lead to advancement into an IoT architect role within the company for the right individual.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other relevant field
  • ASP.NET (Web Forms and MVC), WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), Win Forms, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Ajax
  • Experience working with .Net 4.0, Visual Studio, Bootstrap and Angular
  • 5+ years Software Development experience utilizing the Microsoft stack for new development and maintenance of existing stand-alone, web, and mobile applications
  • 5+ years’ experience coding and debugging in VB.net, C#, .NET 4.0 (or later) using Visual Studio 2010 or later
  • Experience developing REST and SOAP-based web services
  • Experience with database schema design
  • Experience with mobile development
  • Desire for long-term learning and growth within IT and the company
  • Personable with customer-facing acumen
  • Desire to learn and eager to gain additional knowledge through advanced training programs
  • Ability to communicate with diverse cultures in a global workforce environment
Qualifications – Nice to Have, Not Required
  • Knowledge of data analytics would be beneficial, but not a requirement
  • Knowledge of the Agile software development methodology
  • Experience with Mercurial or MS DevOps source code management
  • Experience with Xameron (XAM)
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, modify, document, test and support stand-alone, web-based, and mobile applications that control, program, support, diagnose and interact with industrial machinery
  • Define user requirements and understand the product’s capabilities by interfacing with departmental teams and customers
  • Work closely with the product team and the product team engineering tools
  • Able to work effectively in a technical capacity and position
  • Position entails design and also backend for data storage
